AdsPower vs Dolphin Anty, compared on plans, teams and storage

A fact-for-fact look at AdsPower and Dolphin Anty, taken from each vendor's own pricing, download and help pages on 23 October 2026, with a short note on where Multime fits.

The short answer

AdsPower and Dolphin Anty both manage many isolated browser profiles from one desktop app, and both run on Windows, macOS and Linux. The main differences are in how they charge for profiles and team members and where they keep profile data.

  • AdsPower keeps passwords and cookies on your computer by default and charges for team members one at a time. It offers a Chrome-based and a Firefox-based browser kernel and has an iPhone app.
  • Dolphin Anty shows fixed monthly prices for each plan, includes one user per plan and charges extra for more users on its larger plans. Paid plans sync profiles through its cloud, with an option to keep them local.

Which one fits depends on how many profiles you run, how many people need access and whether you want profile data in a vendor cloud. Every fact below comes from the vendors' own websites. We make Multime, a third tool in this category, and we describe it separately at the end.

Plans and pricing

AdsPower

AdsPower has four tiers: Free, Professional, Business and Enterprise. Professional lets you pick 10, 20, 50 or 100 profiles. Business is the next tier up; AdsPower's help center says it can be set up for 10,000 or more profiles and that the cost per profile drops as the count rises. Enterprise covers 5,000 or more profiles with a price on request.

The pricing page builds the price from the profile count, the billing period (monthly, quarterly at 15% off, or annually at 40% off) and the currency (USD, BRL, PLN or VND). The page text we could read showed no amounts until those choices are made, so we don't quote a figure here. Open the AdsPower pricing page and pick your options to see the current number.

Dolphin Anty

Dolphin Anty prints its prices for 1-month billing. Starter is $10 a month with a profile selector from 20 to 60. Base is $89 a month for 100 profiles, Team is $159 for 300, and Enterprise is $299 with a selector from 1,000 to 50,000 profiles. A Custom plan is quoted individually. Paying for 6 months takes 20% off, and paying for 12 months takes 40% off. The minimum license period is one month.

Free tiers

AdsPower's free plan has 2 profiles and no team members, and it doesn't expire. AdsPower also offers a 7-day trial of all features. Its help center says the free version doesn't include Data Sync.

Dolphin Anty's pricing table lists the free plan at up to 5 profiles and 1 user, with no API access and no cloud sync. Its homepage says "Sign up and get 3 profiles for free", so check the number when you sign up.

Team members and permissions

AdsPower uses a super administrator account that creates member accounts and assigns permissions. Its help center says one member costs $5 on both the Professional and Business packages. That makes the cost grow evenly with each person you add. The free plan has no members.

Dolphin Anty includes one user, the team admin, on every plan. Free and Starter can't add more. Base charges $10 per additional user, Team $20 and Enterprise $25. Admins set permissions for each user.

For a team of five people on 300 profiles, Dolphin Anty's Team plan is $159 plus four extra users at $20 each. On AdsPower, the cost is the plan price for your profile count plus $5 for each member.

Platforms

Both tools run on Windows, macOS and Linux. AdsPower lists Windows 10 or later in 64-bit and 32-bit builds, macOS 11 Big Sur or later with separate Apple Silicon and Intel builds, and Ubuntu Desktop 22.04 or later. It also has an iPhone app, and its download page says an Android app is coming soon.

Dolphin Anty offers a 64-bit Windows build, a macOS build for Intel and M-series Macs, and Linux packages as AppImage, .deb and .rpm. Its download page says it only supports Windows, macOS and Linux, so there is no mobile app.

For the operating system a profile shows to websites, AdsPower lists Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux. Dolphin Anty's pricing table lists "Desktop and mobile OS" on every plan.

Where profile data is stored

AdsPower's homepage says sensitive data such as passwords and cookies is encrypted and stored locally, and isn't synced to the cloud without permission. Paid plans list "Sync profile data across computers" as a feature. If you want everything on one machine, the default suits you. If you want to work from two computers, the sync feature is there on paid plans.

Dolphin Anty's paid plans include cloud synchronization of profiles, cookies and extensions, and an option to turn cloud sync off and store profiles locally. The free plan has local sync only. The default on paid plans leans toward the cloud, with local storage as a choice.

API and automation

AdsPower offers a REST API for connecting profiles to scripts and internal tools, plus RPA for batch operations. Its pricing page lists Local API rates of 300, 900 and 1,500 requests a minute but doesn't say in the page text which plan gets which.

Dolphin Anty has an API for account and profile actions, a scenario builder for automated browser scenarios on different profiles, and a synchronizer in beta that repeats actions from a main profile in others. The free plan has no API access.

Who each fits

AdsPower fits people who want profile data on their own computer by default, need a Firefox-based kernel alongside Chrome, use a 32-bit Windows machine or an iPhone, or prefer to pay per team member as they grow.

Dolphin Anty fits people who want a fixed, printed monthly price, a low entry price for 20 profiles, cloud sync with the option to go local, or very large profile counts on Enterprise.

Where Multime fits

Multime is our product, so read this part with that in mind. It's a desktop profile manager for Apple Silicon Macs (macOS 13 or later) and 64-bit Windows 10 and 11. It has no Linux version, no Intel Mac support and no Android or iOS profiles.

It differs from both tools in two ways. First, Multime doesn't run a cloud for profiles: profiles, cookies and saved logins stay in a local database, with secrets encrypted. Second, team access runs from the owner's computer, which hosts the workspace for VAs over the local network or a private network such as Tailscale. VA seats are part of the plan: Team is $49 a month for 300 profiles and 5 VA seats, and Agency is $129 for 1,000 profiles and 20 VA seats. Solo is $19 for 100 profiles. The Local API accepts AdsPower-style calls for core endpoints, though not all of them. See Multime pricing or the AdsPower alternative and Dolphin Anty alternative pages for details.
