1. Install and download the engine
Install Multime from the download page. Multime runs each profile in its own Chromium-based browser engine, which you download inside the app: open Settings → Kernels and click Download next to the newest version. Multime checks every engine download against a SHA-256 checksum before installing it. Profiles set to "Auto" always use the newest engine you have installed.
2. Create your first profile
Click New profile. Give it a name you'll recognize, such as the client or shop it belongs to, and pick a group if you use groups. The operating system shown to websites defaults to the one you're on. Leave the fingerprint settings on their defaults unless you have a reason to change them: time zone, languages and location follow the proxy's IP, and masking is switched on where the engine supports it.
3. Add a proxy
In the profile's Proxy section, choose Enter proxy and paste a line such as socks5://user:pass@host:port, or pick one from your saved proxies. Click Check to see the exit IP, country and city. Multime uses that result to set the profile's time zone, languages and location. If you run many profiles, add your proxies once on the Proxies page and assign them from there. See the proxy manager page for supported formats.
4. Bring in existing logins
If an account is already logged in somewhere else, you can paste its cookies into the profile (JSON, Netscape cookies.txt or name=value pairs). You can also save the account's username, password and 2FA secret under Accounts & tabs, where Multime shows the current 2FA code. Passwords, 2FA secrets and cookies are stored encrypted on your computer. More on the cookies page.
5. Open the profile and check it
Click Open. A separate browser window starts for that profile, reopening the tabs it had last time. To see what websites see, open our browser fingerprint test inside the profile: time zone, languages and IP should line up.
6. Activate a paid plan
You sign in to Multime with your free account. When you buy a plan from your account on the pricing page, open Settings → Plan and click Check now: your limits change immediately. A plan works on a set number of your own computers; to move it, sign out on the old computer first, or remove that computer on your account page.
7. Invite your VAs
On the Team and Agency plans, open Team & VAs. Turn on hosting so your computer can host the workspace, then create an account for each VA and choose what they may open and do. Each VA installs Multime, chooses to join a workspace and signs in with the details you give them. You see who is online and every action in the activity log. Read teams for how locking and data return work.
8. Automate repetitive work
Paid plans include the RPA editor for no-code flows and the local API for developers. Start with a short flow, such as opening a site and taking a screenshot in ten profiles, before you build longer ones. See automation and the local API reference.
